What Are the Incentives for Doctors that Are In-network

Hi,

I know that insurance companies negotiate a reduced price for services for their members. What incentives do doctors have for agreeing to charge their patients a reduced fee for being a part of their network?

Aside from having clients, some providers actually do negotiate better pay as well. Less so in the commercial world, but in the MA world the providers that the clients want generally get more attractive deals than standard Medicare payments. Carriers will also agree to favorable payment terms make it more attractive.
