Hi everyone, I am a producer in Iowa. I have sold straight LTC but never any LIFE/LTC hybrids. I have a client who wants one. I am looking at getting appointed to OneAmerica for their State Life hybrid. I heard that TransAmerica also has a hybrid. I would like to hear your opinions as to which hybrid you prefer and why. Thanks in advance to all who respond.

For LTC extended benefits, the best contracts are Genworth TLC, State Life Asset Care, Lincoln Moneyguard II, and Pacific Life Premier Care. Would not place Transamerica in this category at all.
Lincoln, State Life, Pacific Life and Genworth allow to continue to receive long term care benefits for years after the death benefit has been exhausted; inflation adjusted as well. State Life offers Unlimited continuation of benefits.
Transamerica just pays you your life insurance benefit. Big whoop.
