what lawyer should look at the contract I plan to sign with an agency network not in my home state?

I showed the contract to a lawyer here in CA, but he advised me to have an attorney in the state where the agency network resides.

is this a labor attorney? Contract attorney? I'm mostly just making sure the tax classification is solid, and that there's no fine print that is going to tie me to the relationship should I decide its better to move on. Its a fairly straight forward contract, I'm not asking for aid in negotiating or anything like that... I'm ready to sign, this is just an extra step of caution before committing.

found a guy! for other newbies out there, seems the going rate is about $200-$325 an hour with a 1 hour minimum. I am sure this is dependent on what state you are in as well.
