AEP, OEP, and SEP's only apply to MA plans and some of these apply to PDP's as well. As for what you asked about:

The way I'm getting this is, it all depends on if they have a drug card/part D. If they do... then they have to switch drug coverage also.
I'm also Interested in what happens after OEP with Med Sups.

OEP does not apply to Med Sups. They have no enrollment windows and can be written/ changed all years, as long as the client qualifies through underwriting or has a Guarantee Issue.

If you are moving them back to Original Medicare from a MAPD and writing a Med Sup, they will qualify for a separate SEP to join a new PDP during that time as well.

I hate to add to a 9-yr old thread, but just want to point out that the OEP (1/1 to 3/31) drug rules that applied in the past do not apply to the OEP (1/1 to 3/31) making a "return" in 2019.
