Where To Recruit Licensed Agents

I'm looking to hire a couple licensed P&C agents to work for my agency as CRS's. Our agency is located in the Los Angeles area.

Does anyone have any good ideas or sources for finding licensed P&C agents?

It seems like there would be a lot of talent out looking right now given the current job market.

Your thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated.

Run a Moster.com ad for a few months and you will have more prospects than you can imagine. Craigslist is free but it tends to draw a strange group.

Thank you! I'm on Craigslist, which does cost to post for job offerings only. I've posted two offerings one for an admin and the other for a licensed agent.

I've received tons for the admin, but only a few for the licensed agent.

That isn't surprising. Most people just want a job. Many get lured into insurance by managers telling them it is easy money, and they'll make 6 figures the first year. The fact that you are getting more resumes for the admin suggests you are not misleading them about the agent position.

Kingkrazy is correct. Lots of posters attempt to recruit on this forum. Just post in the proper section, i.e., "offers."

Careful what u wish for you just may get it ... I suggest a strategic alliance with an outfit that may be looking to expand the portfolio. Everyone is willing to let someone work for free. But offering your expertise to "assist in expanding" the nature of a bullpen's once limited activities is an opportunity.
