First let me tell you about myself. 38 years old, healthy male (see doctor once a year for physical), no pre-existing conditions. Never been to hospital or ER (knock on wood). Sedentary job - don't do much physical stuff or sports.

OPTION #1 - OneShare
$20 office visits (rest of visit including labs and xrays is free/paid in full) -- THREE PER YEAR
$20 urgent care (rest of visit including labs and xrays is free/paid in full) -- ONE PER YEAR
$500 emergency room visit (rest of visit covered in full) -- ONE PER YEAR
$0 wellness check - ONE PER YEAR
Free telemedicine
$150K per incident max
$1 million lifetime max
No specialists - WE PAY IN FULL FOR THOSE
$10,000 deductible
COST - $211 a month

OPTION #2 - MediShare
$35 office visits (we pay the rest later after 20% discount)
$35 urgent care(we pay the rest later after 20% discount)
$200 emergency room visit (we pay the rest later after 20% discount)
No wellness exam
Free telemedicine
$150K per incident max
$1 million lifetime max
$35 specialists (we pay the rest later after 20% discount)
$5500 deductible
COST - $218 a month

OPTION #2 - Anthem Blue Cross
$50 office visits (we pay the rest later after bill is discounted)
$75 urgent care (we pay the rest later after bill is discounted)
$400 emergency room visit (we pay the rest later after bill is discounted)
$0 free wellness exam (one per year)
No telemedicine
No incident or lifetime maximum
$75 specialists (we pay the rest later after bill is discounted)
$2500 deductible
$6000 out of pocket max
80% coinsurance (we pay 20% after deductible up to $6000)
COST - $240 a month
 
Anthem simply due to the no incident/lifetime max. That's the whole point of health insurance or any insurance is to make sure you don't go bankrupt over something catastrophic. Since you don't go to the Dr. anyway the copays don't really matter and there's only a 20-30/mo difference.
