Not everyone- several people on here buy a shitload of them and work them until they pop. It takes volume to do that.
I do both- my own prospecting AND buy leads AND work old leads. I now do most of my business from referrals etc. That is where you want to be.

Can you tell me what telemarketers you use?
So what if his accounting is off? If it costs him $15, he is still way ahead of all the lead systems I've tried and failed at.

We've done tons of direct mail with success, although our conversion rate is only 1-2% while quality leads on the net are usually 10-12%

The $$ could be used to fund causes that I don't believe in, how do you know what the lead vendor is really doing with all of the money?
