I would love to hear from other Wisconsin brokers about any rate information you've received from local carriers for 2017.
Here is my contribution...
According to our local cooperative, Common Ground (this is one of the few remaining surviving coops that recently got an 'infusion' of cash from the government), they just sent brokers a letter saying:
"...our insurance commissioner gave all exchange carriers an opportunity to refile rates after the recent exit of several health insurance carriers from the Wisconsin marketplace. Final rates were recently approved by both the state and federal government."
One of my clients, person in his 20s on a Catastrophic Plan, will see his rate go from $114 per month to $257 per month. That is a 126% increase. Now that indeed IS catastrophic.
