Anyone know what happens to a surviving spouse when she turns 65. I'm trying to call their benefits Dept but it is the most embarrassing experience ever.
Call in, get run around for 20 min and sent to a voicemail who says they will call back in 7-10 days. If you don't answer, they leave a message and you start entire process over again, waiting 7;10 days for a call back. The client and I started what must be the longest game of phone tag ever on May 1.... really just trying to find out if they have a retiree supplement or give funds to a person to use on their own or via a private exchange.
