Is it standard procedure to make someone punch out from their job when they get hurt on the job in Florida? Also how many days off in Florida for worker's comp before they start paying?

Found out the second question I had, still need to know if it's legal if someone get's hurt on the job in mid shift and they make them punch out before sending them to the doctor.
