Saw it today for the first time after getting email from Amerilife.

Was wondering why other companies didn't challenge AARP med sups more agressively in Florida.

In some counties Cigna is right up there too.

Florida blue always has been right there. But it doesn't matter, it's only a few dollars and when I mention UHC or Gerber to people they always choose UHC. I think I have a total of 2 people on Gerber. An increase soon should put them slightly higher

Yes AARP/UHC is the dominant med supp carrier in Florida.

AARP Likes markets where there is easier underwriting and higher rates, They Dominate NY as well.

They don't do well in states where there are lower rates due to tougher underwriting

For the most part, there are exceptions I am sure
