Yahoo Shutting Down Site Explorer This Year

a lot of people saw this coming, but I am surprised. I figured they would make it a premium service before they closed it down.

Interesting. I never used it that much. I miss Wonder Wheel though.

There are so many free tools out there. But, of course, you only need a few.

seo powersuite uses yse, you might want to try market samurai which uses majestic seo as an alternative to yse for backlink data.

Thanks Mark. Looking at Market Samurai now. Free trial download. Is the free version decent or is it worth the pop for the full version. I know, I know, you get what you pay for, just wondering if it's worth the $$. One new client would pay for it though...

I have read that Microsoft is now working on another tool to replace Yahoo Site Explorer. Great thing for us.
