Insurance industry media veterans Dave O’Neil and Brian Anderson have joined Insurance Forums to lead the sales and editorial direction for the website and its associated properties.
O’Neil and Anderson, both recently of Summit Professional Networks’ Life and Health Group, come aboard as Senior Vice-President, Digital Sales, and Executive Editor, respectively.
O’Neil will be responsible for all sales activity across the web site, email database and managing the LinkedIn partnership. A seasoned executive with a track record of success and leadership in management and sales for major media companies, O’Neil spent the past four years as Group Publisher of Summit’s Life and Health Group. In this role, he was responsible for the successful launches of LifeHealthPro.com, BenefitsPro.com and the continued development of ProducersWEB.com.

Anderson comes to Insurance-Forums.net after a brief stint at Key Media’s Insurance Business America andInsurance Business Canada magazines, where he was the Managing Editor for the two commercial insurance market-focused titles. Prior to that, he spent five years as the Editor of Summit’s Life Insurance Selling and briefly as Executive Managing Editor of National Underwriter Life and Health until departing in early 2014.
He was also Content Director for the company’s portal website, LifeHealthPro.com, and served as the site’s Your Practice channel editor. Prior to taking over Life Insurance Selling in March of 2009, Anderson served as Editor ofSenior Market Advisor magazine, which has recently been rebranded as Retirement Advisor.
At Insurance-Forums.com, Anderson will work to develop articles, tips, case studies and commentaries that complement the issues, concerns and ideas expressed in ongoing discussion threads by Insurance-Forums.com’s more than 55,000 members.
