Integrity Marketing Group, LLC, the nation’s largest independent distributor of life and health insurance products, recently announced it has completed the acquisition of McNerney Management Group (MMG).
As part of the acquisition, MMG’s four equity owners, Dan McNerney, David McNerney, Bobby Richardson and JoAnn Wray will become owners and partners at Integrity. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
McNerney Management Group, headquartered in Columbia, Mo., provides life and health insurance to the senior market through two distribution divisions. Senior Marketing Specialists is MMG’s independent agent brokerage division supporting about 10,000 agents and is one of the largest Insurance Marketing Organizations (IMOs) in the country. Senior Benefit Services is MMG’s career agent group.
Combined, the two MMG divisions expect to produce over $180 million of annualized paid premium in 2020 while serving 82,000 Americans annually.
JoAnn Wray, President of Senior Marketing Specialists, and David McNerney, President of Senior Benefit Services, will continue to lead their organizations and become Managing Partners of Integrity. Dan McNerney, Bobby Richardson, JoAnn Wray and David McNerney will all join Integrity’s Board of Partners and leadership team.

Oh Wow didn't they just take over another FMO recently
I don't know anything about Integrity Marketing Only that sometimes changes like this can have negative effects cutting costs and such

IMG is supposedly going to add to their Agent contracts that an agent contracted with one IMG FMO can't replace any business if written by another IMG FMO.
So you mean if I have a client with Mutual that has a high increase I can sell them a new med supp with lower premium??
How could they do or enforce that?
Not sure.
They can do it because the agent contracts are "terminate at will" . Your contract may not be with germ but with the company so you think you are safe. However, with the clout they have they can insist that companies terminate your contract at their request…Agent's need to realize there is no long time Security when it comes to contracts.
Has there been any further info on this? How would the agent know what FMO the agent who wrote the existing business was contracted with?
I feel like they are opening themselves up to some lawsuits from agents with that kind of crap.
I for one wouldn't stand for it, If I found out that my FMO was part of IMG I would move my contract because of it.
Do you know what FMOs fall under their umbrella? Or a way to find out which ones do?

Keep in mind that even if you don't have a contract with any of these, some of the larger ones, like AIMC and Agent Pipeline are the upline for a great many smaller organizations. I don't know if it is still that way, but AIMC used to be the exclusive marketer for some smaller Med Supp companies.
Also, will they give releases outside of the organizations that they own?

I must say, they must make the deal so enticing that it can't be refused. Some places that I thought would never sell out to them have.
What is in it for the "new partners"? I can see what is in it for Integrity but what do they offer that a large IMO can't achieve on their own? I notice Mark Gilliam even went to Integrity..
That's what I can't quite figure out. I can't get anyone at Integrity to tell me any secrets either.
I have a few friends who recently started selling with FFL. They post a lot on social media about their specific "team" as well as FFL in general. I also see Integrity mentioned here and there.
Is there a relationship between Integrity and FFL?

I was looking at the Integrity website of co’s that they bought and I noticed an agency named agent Force that they bought. It’s a first family agency near me and I looked them up. They say they do $60 mil of premium and recruit nationwide. I’ve never heard of them nor to my knowledge run into them.
Exactly why your fear of replacements is silly. People writing business all around you and you never see it.

I’ve never said I was scared of replacement. I said I’ve had a few GI policy’s I wrote And before the first draft a moo advertisement came and they went with it . I don’t blame them as it’s 30% more coverage than aig . I only sell great western Gi now . 95% will get am am rop or GTL.I’m sure I’ve had my share of policy’s replaced just like you have but never knew it . I can only recall receiving one replacement form in my life . I sell value and not price . Of course I keep the premiums in the middle of the pack
