American College of Financial Services CEO on why recruiting more Black financial advisors is important

Mr. Nichols makes a few points, but I disagree with the notion that "white" advisors get better or more training than "black" advisors. I think training sucks all across the board as evidenced by LIMRA statistics.

Where I think there's more of a disconnect is with those practices that are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation of agents and advisors. They'll have an obvious leg-up on their training experiences and doing things "the family way".

Just my opinion.
