2014 Individual Amendment


You have been notified via an updated Amendment that Coventry Ohio commission will be 0% for all business submitted after 3/6/14. We will pay commission as indicated on amendment sent in December 2013 (8% / 4%) on any enrolled/active OH Coventry application for any plan that was effective 1/1/14 or later and received no later than 3/6/14.

sooooo... client needs to make an adjustment to their current plan... like income changing... or adding or subtracting something that generates an SEP.... and they keep the same plan... did the agent just get bock blocked? are they even a player there?

It's only Ohio. In Pa, we still get full commission. And don't forget that Coventry only offers coverage in a few counties in Ohio, so you rarely use them.

I thought you negotiated with Coventry to pay the commissions to the Groat's charity.

If only in a few counties, and paying $0 commish............I'm sure they are pulling out. They have to submit plans/counties/rates/etc in 2 months from now

Not a big loss. I wrote a few Oh Coventry (HealthAmerica) plans last year but not many.

But Pa was different. Not a bad option in specific areas.
