12% Back the Individual Mandate in 2014

I think the remaining 88% are going to be quite vocal about their opposition, especially when they see how the new plans are designed with a lot more up front costs and WAY higher premiums than what they can currently get.

I looked at the filing for my state (WA) and the silver plan will cost me about $360-$420 depending on carrier. Right now I can have a very good (although no prescription coverage or maternity) for less than $160. 38 YO male. I wish I could just keep it!

No worry, I heard somewhere that if you like your plan, you can keep it. I'll try to find it and get back with you........or check your local bully pulpit.

I would never classify a plan without Rx as a good plan. It is a piece of shut that has the potential to bankrupt you or put you in an early grave if you can't afford your meds.

With he right situation meds can be very very expensive and nescessary. That is a big big hole.

I agree about the Rx. Why not rewrite your own health insurance for two reasons - better Rx and a renewal date of Nov or Dec. 2013.

I'm hoping he means he has a high-deductible plan that doesn't cover RX out of the box via co-pays, but does cover RX once deductible is met.
