I have always been a big term life seller. I multi-line my P&C client with about 3-4 per month and average $500 per policy. I need to get 48k in premium this year to qualify for travel. What are the best ways to get this done?

If you've "always been a big term life seller", you should know the answer to your question. Do as Illini says.....and the way you do that is to double up whatever marketing efforts you've already been doing.

I was thinking more on the lines of ways to market or bring in higher premium policies. Annuity, UL, Whole Life, What have you done to bring in some of the large accounts. What clientele is target for this? I am working off of a 1.3 million P&C book mostly comprised of personal lines 25-45 year olds.

First place I would start is going back to the term clients you have. Maybe convert a piece of the term or add on more term or perm. Kids policies, referrals to their parents etc. Then start doing a policy inventory on your clients other policies where do they have their life polices now? Easy to ask when doing a brief summary of their current plans with you.

Just know someone is asking them about their life insurance. Every client I write has a P&C agent somewhere.

Just my 2 cents

Those folks have money but nothing is stopping you from suggesting your services to their parents and other family members. After all, just about everyone needs life insurance.

I have heard if this called the low hanging fruit. I started my agency scratch in 03/2012. Good point about the conversion. I introduced the perm idea when I sold the term and I should have some conversion interest to work off of. Thanks. Any other marketing ideas that have worked or success stories of large closed accounts and where you found the client?

Ask a few more questions when you write a p and c deal. Have the stats on one info sheet in the file. Such as dob, smoker, ht and wt, kids ages, occ and so on. Use a colored paper. P&C files have a ton of info in them. Ask people about the plans they have now and xdate them.

Contact the beneficiaries of your life clients. You will be surprised how many will ask you to quote them.

Policy review! Avg premium per case well over 5k.
Tons of people have shotty products that are going to lapse and they just don't know it.

This. Do a performance evaluation on their existing life policies (if healthy), then shop the case. You will find a lot of imploding UL only guaranteed until 70-80. Order their in-force illustrations, shop it, and put together a better option. They'll be in a better position after you extend their guarantees to 120, and you'll get paid on target for the case, plus a little for the 1035. Easy way to hit your goal.
