Any oppinions on Gaurdian. I will probably be signing with an agency next week (I've basically been offered the job). The first year I will be making 80% commission on first year premiums. In addition, full benefits and even 401k and a pension plan is offered. By the way, I am completely new to selling insurance. The CEO used to be with NYL.

Guardian Life is a great company. Excellent products and very strong in the white collar DI market.
P.S. If you are going to sign on with them you better learn how to spell Guardian.

I am really excited about selling insurance! I've been working in television for 7 years and am so burnt out with it that I am litterally ready to pull what hair is left on my head out!

My two top choices in captive old line companies are Mass Mutual and Guardian. Guardian is a good company, supports LEAP, and has a rich benefit package for FR's. There is a good discoussion about Guardian on Topgunproducers.
