I am going to be a P&C insurance software product developer. We are going to develop a product for our customer and we need to use ACORD in this. This is the only information that I got. I got look in google to know 'What is ACORD'.... :-).
All that I came to know is, ACORD provides standardize forms and electronic data exchange for their customers (XML format of data by applying some standards based on the type of insurance).
Could you please give me some idea about what exactly a developers role in using ACORD, what I should learn and am I going to write any code/XML/Script.. ?
