So I've been lurking for the last 5+ years and finally decided to introduce myself. I started out searching on here about different companies and it kept me away from a number of poor choices, life took me in a different direction.
Since joining I've earned most of an Associates Degree in Finance, taken a salaried sales position in power tools, had that job get eliminated, moved across the country to Tampa, and taken a job in construction that is commision.
In the past year on commision I've come to the conclusion that the time/money is not in my favor and that if I'm going to work this hard why not work for myself. I'm looking to get into FE/Medicare Supplements to start since it seems that I could do that along with my current job as long as I put in the time.
The end game would be to replace what I make not in about a year and leave my job to work for myself. I've done plenty of reading here along with some other sources and I know it will be a ton of work but I can't afford it financially to just make the jump.
