Hello. Asking for advice from those that have been there. I am considering this position. Have been in the business for 4 years and looking strongly at the marketing part of this position very favorably.

I was a Life Specialist for an office of three Allstate NOAs. Ghost writing $100,000 in AP. They got trips to Hawaii, I about starved to death.

You will not own a bit of the business you write. When you leave you will leave with nothing. It is a P&C shop, you will be seen as a licensed CSR. IMHO.

Not to mention they probably will only give you 40-50% on your life production.

Funny part is i was a full year and a half in the business. A year and half as a captive at that. And _I_ was the specialist.
