Any suggestions on a market that will look at one with lapsed coverage. So far , Burns & Wilcox says "no" since they are our main E&S market, I'm on the hunt

IT's crazy that Burns & WIlcox turned it down. THey have never turned away anything i have given them. FOr the commercial auto try Robert Moreno if you have it in your state, here in Cali they are amazing.

I thought B&R doesnt do anything with Commercial auto....

There are tons of places that will write ambo's......

Apparently not here in Pa...especially if you let your coverage lapse
If you have a ambulance service with lapse coverage run don't waste your time. They won't be in business long. Also, make sure the professional and malpractice isn't lapse also.

surprisingly...this one has $$, I have the rest of the biz and I know that for a fact...I'm gonna turn this part of it loose though

100% correct. Also, ambulance services hire just about anyone who can pass an EMT test, which is not very difficult to do. I worked for an ambulance service for about 90 days and got out. I did so for the experience, which was scary. They run their employees to death, pay very little, and draw there personnel from people who are happy to make $9.00 an hour, and these are not your highly trained EMTs and Medics. They rarely require pre-employment testing and have junk for ambulances. A lot buy worn out units from actual Rescue Squads that sell them to replace them with new ones.

Stay away......

I tell you what man, if this company has $$$$, then I would make them pay in full for the year or at least half up front....

I can see you EASILY writing this on a monthly, just so they satisfy the Health Department and their regulatory items and letting it lapse and you get hit with a HUGE chargeback....and you just did A LOT of work for nothing.

Not to mention, if you do reveal the lapse, I would be surprised if they could find any coverage..
