So what happens to these guys? I still see these guys ads all over facebook; will they be forced to pull their hospital indemnity plans in 2015?

My understanding is they will be forced to sell it as a "supplement" to a ACA / MEC plan (as it was designed), and be required to verify other ACA/MEC coverage before selling it to the client.

I'm sure the agent will make that happen

Assurant is terminating their indemnity policy availability at end of year due to this new rule.
