Hello,

My name is Arnel Catic. Currently a student at Boise State University studying Political Science/Public Policy(BS) and CJ(AS) - two semesters shy of graduation! (May 2010== CANT WAIT). I am very impressed by the insurance industry and this is something that I want to get into right after graduation. I am a young 22 year old who is fluent in Bosnian, German and English. Originally from Bosnia - fled due to war and now proud to be a US citizen ! Looking to get into the insurance market down in Southern California - call me crazy if you want - but i love it down there. It will be a big scenery change from good ole' idaho . Was hoping to get some advice on where to even start? The ultimate goal would be to start up and own my agency one day -- work for myself. I know it takes a lot of hardwork and sweat to get there - but I am a work horse. I am a great people person and a go-getter - have been around many different cultures, Germany - Bosnia etc. Would it be ideal to start with an agency like Farmers? Combined Insurance? All-State? to get some good experience in the insurance industry?- just need to be pointed the right direction. Also- please feel free to shoot me a private message. I still have two semesters to research and figure out a good company to work for in SoCal --
