anybody knows a good bulk mailing service I can provide my own list? I know about "The Lead Connection" and "Lead Concepts" but the price difference between their data and mine isn't so significant.
Has anybody tried "Postcardmania" or any other good service? I have YEARS of data.

there's always vistaprint

Have you also considered opening a bulk mail account with the Post Office, and mailing the cards yourself?

thanks i will look into it, from what ive seen though, its not significanly cheaper, might not be worth the hassle.

Direct Mail vendor here (late to the game)-

there are 2 major benefits of using a direct mail vendor (or any vendor for that matter)
1- Reduce efforts of list buying/searching for the right lists
2- Reduce cost of mailing by leveraging the vendor's ability to mail in bulk (thus bringing down the pricing).

If you already have a list that you like and want to continue to use, nobody should say no to mailing it for you, but you will probably get solid rates just by going to the mail house yourself.

Vendors like us can assist by streamlining your process and/or performing an AB test to confirm the quality of your list compared to something that we have seen being as effective.

Open a business reply account with the U.S. Post Office and deposit money into it.

Go to your local post office and ask to speak to the person who handles bulk mailing. That person will give you names of print shops who are doing the bulk mailing.

Contact them and use the local print shop to do bulk mailing. They will use their bulk mailing permit to send out your mailings. The print shop will print your flyer and stuff it in an envelop and deliver it to the post office. years.

The USPS provides a service called EEDM-retail. It's similar to bulk mailing services but without the need for a mailing list or a mailing permit…both of which can be costly. It allows you to send a direct mail piece to "every door" on a mailing route so long as it meets the requirements of a "flat" in size and thickness. And postage is only $0.23 per piece (substantially less than first-class rates). Of course, you may be mailing more pieces than you may want but it's perfect for targeting specific zip codes.

While EEDM-retail is good, I would recommend being careful with that. That type of mailing leads to many mailers sent to irrelevant people and wasted money/resources, especially as you have to mail everyone in the area, regardless of fit.
