Any SoCal Independent P&C Agencies?

Hi There!

I am looking to work for a Independent Agency in Southern California. I am based in Orange County but am open to working with a company in LA, Riverside and San Diego.

I'm a FAST Learner, extremely personable and an experienced public speaker with extensive sales experience. Not interested in being with a captive agency and not looking for a salary. I will need support in the first 90 days to learn the ropes but then expect to very self sufficient. I'm looking to bring value to an agency.

You are not getting a response because your original post shows exactly how green you are. You may be able to learn the basics of writing auto insurance in 90 days... but any new producer takes a solid 18 months to two years before you can turn them loose on their own or they are in a position to make a profit for the agency. No offense to the OP, but he doesn't even know what he doesn't know. A few years working for a direct writer is probably exactly what he needs, they have the training programs and support systems available to babysit newbie producers. I highly recommend Liberty Mutual, Federated, universal Underwriters or Sentry.
