Any Suggestions for Selling P&C Over the Phone to MD, PA, TX

I have been writing L+H over the phone for 2 years now very successfully and I am looking to get into P&C to build on my current book. I have clients all over the place. Is P&C done over the phone regularly and if so who are some good carriers that will allow me to be appointed as an independent?
