Hi,

I'm resident CA Licensed and have a referral source sending me a piece of business in LA county for a near $10 Million dollar home, 12,000 square feet. Currently the client already has a broker with Chartis that handles his primary residency in Miami, I'm not licensed in FL.

I am 90% sure I can't write this entire package without FL licensing and can't get it handled quickly enough to make this happen. But figured I'd last ditch it before passing on a total of over 100K Premium for the home/auto/umbrella for this VIP client.

Re: Any Thoughts.

I am not sure what you are asking here? Looks to me like the only chance is someone in Florida. They have to know what they are doing. They have to have the right carriers. They have to be willing to work with you. May not be easy to find on short notice.

I had a similar experiance with a client of mine. His primary residence is in Utah, secondary in Las Vegas, and he has a rental property in florida, a rental in Washington and about a dozen other rental homes in UT and Wyoming. I write the bulk of his policy but found a couple agents on here to help with the Washington and Florida. I was able to use Hudson and blanket everything including the risks in the other states being his primary residence was in my state of license. I also hold a license in NV so I wrote his secondary as well.
