or any other state where Plan J is a lower premium than plan F know what happens in 2010 ? I callled AARP broker support and was told in uncertain terms that even though Plan J will be sunsetted by CMS in 2010 that those already enrolled will continue in plan J. So my question/comment is this could be a selling point to agents in Florida to get people to take action before end of year.I don't see a downside to making a push since downgrading a med supp to a lower benefit level within the same company dosen't require underwritting in the event that plan J premiums rise more others.

In North Florida AARP med supp are buy far the lowest rates for standard med supp.

Plan J age 65 in most counties In Fl 161.25
Plan F 161.50
Plan C 159.75
Plan D 147.00

I write AARP plan "J" med-supps here in NW Florida. Plan "J" is $161.25 per month. Plan "F" is $161.00 a month(Area 2). Knock off $2 a month for PAC.

M of O is actually less for a 65 year-old female @ $158.47 per month.

Don't think the 2010 changes in med-supps will be that big of an influence on folks buying now.
