Hello, my client purchased a vehicle and texted me to add to her policy on the 12th day of the purchase on a Sunday. I was out of the office and my office was flooded. since i was behind my work I worked over the weekend and added the vehicle to the policy on Saturday but as of the date that she texted me. she got into and accident. National General is denying claim stating that may not cover since it was not added on time. i have proof that she texted me before the accident. If they don't cover Will this be an E&O claim? thank you

speak to the claims department and fill them in all how, what, and why of the events. Your voicemail should also state very clearly that no transactions should be left as a voicemail, just as a financial guy stating that no trades will be accepted by voicemail.

I don't think there would be an eo exposure here. Insurance companies give you a short grace period for this type of situation. Texting you 12 days later on a Sunday is her fault. If she bought it that Sunday and that's when it happened, then there wouldn't have been an issue...assuming she had full coverage on her previous car.
