Wondering if anyone has current/recent experience with AAA. What production requirements does AAA have?
Any service issues?
Commissions on auto and home? Renewal commissions?
Overall impressions?

What state are you in? That is going to play a factor in how this is answered since I know production requirements vary from area to area as well as some carriers and things of that nature.

My Kemper rep said AAA lost Kemper as a carrier. That might say something...

I don't have the contract, but can tell you my experience.
Not sure about production requirements.
I do have the most communications with underwriters at AAA, compared with other carriers, but usually it's easy items. But still, they are things that need to be worked on, so it can take some time if it requires extra calls and such.
15/15 on auto/home
I have had a very good experience with AAA thus far. I'm a newer agent (3.5 yrs) and when I started AAA was about 60-70% of my biz. That has been pared back a lot with rate increases and other carriers being more competitive. As of July 1 their underwriting in MN is getting very strict on homes. They are not accepting new business homes with a claim of any kind in the last 5 years!
