Is anyone regularly writing CSNPs?

I just finished a certfication for a regional Blues carrier. They had two the past couple of years but they were only in one County (I guess a test market) that was about two hours away. For 2020 they expanded into five more Counties and I cover two of them.

One SNP is for lung care and the other is for heart and diabetes. The new provider network will be the full HMO one (and it's large), low monthly premiums, low hospital co-pays, $2,000 in dental, low MOOP, and a Tier 6 for drugs.

Sounds like good products for a lot of FE clients.

If the benefits are better than the other MAPD's in the market for someone with the targeted condition, it's a good thing. I have to make some comps for this season, good reminder.

Cigna has a C-SNP for diabetics in the Philly market and a regional Blues has two C-SNPS in another PA market.

If you want to meet diabetics, try partnering with PC doctors or endocrinologists. See if you can set up a table outside their offices. Or maybe talk to the local branch of the American Diabetes Association or similar.

Just remember, even if they give you a list of names, you can't cold call them due to compliance issues so you'll have to find other ways to reach them.

Sorry, I was referring to the Diabetes Association. Maybe talk to them and set up a table at one of their events or volunteer to get your name out in the community.
