i saw some old post on here that didn't mention carriers, etc. anyone currently marketing it? a few docs have shown interest. proassurance dominates the market (60%) in my state.

ProAssurance is fairly competitive in my state (VA). The biggest contenders in VA are TDC (The Doctors Company) for their Tribute Plan (even as an agent it's hard to talk about because it's not guaranteed- look into it), MagMutual, MedPro and Professionals Advocate. There are a few rouge players and some specialty markets. Also be ware- trend in industry is for carriers to write direct.
