I"m not really good at the photoshop software.

Most printing companies have it where you make your own artwork using a template. But you still have to make your own artwork and stuff.

I've made some postcards and other stuff but it took me forever.

I did learn the hard way it has to be 360dpi and not to get to close to the edges.

Is there a company that you know of that will create postcards, businesscards, door hangers or something after you give them the details and tell them what you want on it?

There has to be some college kid looking for a small job or something. Before you say craigslist, I'm looking for other options.

Postcardmania.com is pretty reasonable, see their website. We had them do a postcard a few years back and it looked good. Not too expensive.

Either that or if you want an artist to work with there might be some at the Art Institute of Atlanta who would like some portfolio pieces.

Postcard Mania they have a special for 5000 full color, super glossy postcards for $329. I used them before they do a fantastic job.

Plus you can use the small post card size and save on stamps...Good Luck Mark

I used Kraymer direct. It is mainly for a mailer to potential clients but you can ask to customize their postcards, double-mailers, e.t.c.

I'm putting together a piece now and after running an add on CL I have a bunch of folks I like. If you do go the CL route, just put it in a big city and you'll probably be very pleased with the results. I'm doing a chicken-scratch mock-up and then having them put it together and it's only gonna cost like $50.

Example I'm working on a postcard for www.rosenthalfiles.com and need someone to make me a postcard for it.

I want to just write down the things I want on my ad and someone put it together and figure out the dpi and all the stuff you have to do to upload it to most cheap printing companies.

I used doorhangers.com from time to time, because they had a good template that was easy to use, where I just type in the words I want on it.

Oxford Life has graphic designers that will custom build anything you want and charge only their cost for printing. They have some good designs already but will create whatever you want. Just has to pass compliance before they will actually print it.

This guy works wonders on most all my stuff. Certainly not the cheapest...but he is the best. He'll also spruce up your copy to get even better response.
