Does anyone know if they only appoint one agent per agency? We have a new agent starting and are being told that those carriers only appoint one agent per agency. Does this sound right? Does anyone know what rules Citizens has for appointing a second agent to an agency?

I don't represent ASI, but do the other two. We have multiple agent codes for each carrier, so yes they do allow it. However some carriers are less likely to do that unless you start writing business then they will.

What area are you in? Neither carrier in my area is very competitive (American Integrity is on mobile homes and DP's, but not HO3's).
