Auto Carriers in NEW JERSEY

Hello,
my agency is appointed with progressive but the rates seem to be a little high, and can't sell the policy. Progressive has been more than great though and will put account with them.

What other company do you recommend for New Jersey Auto Insurance?

Im in NJ as well (Bergen County) I'm appointed with Progressive, Metlife, Travelers. So try those

Travelers is good. You can also go for Cure and IFA.

great thank you. I lived in Bergen County for 20 years, now I live in central New Jersey. I will try Metlife. Travellers wouldn't give me an appointment because of low annual premium I guess....
I also see a lot of Plymouth rock assurance advertisement everywhere, will try them to.

Thank you for asking. Metlife is the only company from those you mentioned to get back to me.
Metlifes e-mail states requirements: 750k - 1 million in established business, this is a new agency I told him that I don't have a book of business, so any suggestions on how to get around this one?

Go through smartchoice and write through them

okay, does this restrict me in getting appointments in the near future with the companies I write through smart choice? Will I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can go direct with a company if I used smart choice?
