Auto Insurance Appointments

Hi I'm an agent in south Florida. What auto insurance company is appointing besides Progressive, Foremost, and Gainsco?

There really aren't many companies who will appoint you in Florida. I have been battling for 4 months already with no luck even progressive are not appointing also foremost will required a book of business.

Well I'm appointed with those three companies already. I was just looking for more companies, Thanks

When did you get the progressive one. I just applied they denied me, they said they put a hold in broward and south Florida. Also foremost told me they wouldn't as they required me to have a book of business already.

Did you try Sentry/Viking/Dairyland (all one company, goes by different names in different states)? I would try them. Also maybe Kemper Specialty (formerly Unitrin).

The big challenge with Florida is that claim fraud is to the point that it scares many carriers away. But keep trying.

Another idea is to look up some indy agents' websites in FLA and see who they are carrying.

You could also try Assurance America and Windhaven. Are you a New Agency?
