OK, I have a Client that has asked me to write her Daughter, 2 Granddaughters and 4 Great Grandkids. All of the other policies I have in this family are permanent. WL, SIWL and GUL. She is not a fan of Term.

The Daughter is an easy one - GUL
The great grandkids are easy, probably child riders due to cost.
Now the Granddaughters - 22 and 27, Health good, Good build, Non tobacco. Probably, most likely, Weed. The Rub - Multiple DUIs and other tickets, probably failure to appears as well. No Felony convictions, Yet.

The Grandma, in her 50s, has been a great client and referral source. So of course I want to take care of her.

The Need, as I see it = Final expenses and some money to transition the grand kids to someone else's care in case of death.

Accidental Death policy or rider - Check

Who do you non * FE guys suggest looking at in California. So far I am seeing LBL SIWL and UHL DLX 20 year term.

Thanks

LBL or UHL...oh wait, I didnt read the rest of your post.

I don't know about UHL term, but I was thinking UHL and/or LBL FE policies.

Not sure if you have United National Life, they have a term that might fit. You would need to call underwriting and run everything through first.

I am pretty confident the UHL DLX 20 yr term will fly seems like accidental and child riders would be appropriate also. I really would like to get at least a little permanent coverage on them as part of the combo.

I have not written LBL in a while, do any of you guys see any obstacles with them?

United National Life has a term policy? The only life plans I have seen with them is the underwritten WL Family Life and the Provider FE.

Yes, I do believe you are correct. I may have been thinking Standard Life and Accident. Got to hand it to Wino, when I hear multiple DUI's for young folks, I just close the book.

I understand. Remember, they called me. That and I have something like 8 polices in the family and a few more the grandmother has referred me to. So got to take care of the people that take care of me.
