Best Senior Market Captive opportunities

Hello All,

Great site with great information.

I'm in Texas and want to enter into the Senior Market. I'm new so will need training. I'm assuming possibly the best way to go will be with a captive company. So.....

Can any of you give some suggestions as to what you think the best set up would be for a combination of training and opportunity (Captive or otherwise) I was leaning toward UAFC but I have seen some more negative posts regarding commision structures with them.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

How long have you been with them?

Been selling since 2004 and been with GASB since 2006.

Then you have been with them long enough to know that they are a decent place to be.

Yea, they really seem to care about us (the agents). They have also gone out and got us contracts with other companies when there is something better out there... I never feel like I miss out on any opportunity for a sale.

I was once with GASB before they offered other carriers MA's...

Yea, they have MAs now and agents get street. But I am a "Field Manager" so I get GA comp. We are even paid strait from the MA co. with 100% day one vesting.

I got paid $200 an app for MA's. The guy I worked for at GASB only cared about his pockets.

They were that low at one time... But now GASB has FMO contracts.
