Blueprint, a reliable platform for annuity products?

Hi All, am new to this, newly licensed agent here in NY.

Just came across Blueprint's platform for annuities search and am impressed with what their website. Would like to hear user's experiences with Blueprint.

Questions

1) Is Blueprint a reliable source for annuity products? Are they a leads generator for the carriers or are they an agent/broker of some sort?

2) If I find an annuity product I like, do I deal directly with Blueprint or do I contact the carrier directly?

3) Are there platforms similar to Blueprint that carry annuity products for New York residents? I see that some products on Blueprint's platform are not available for NY residents.

Blueprint seems to be straight to consumer.
They have "customer reviews" but it's on their website.
Seems like they ship out annuity contracts to clients who find them online.
Being a new advisor you should learn the ropes with a reputable IMO or BD.
NY products are on the come up. I saw a product with a 7yr surrender and a 6% cap on the S&P 500 Annual point to point. Pretty strong for NY.
NY and their reg 60....so much regulation nothing gets done.
