A little help please.

Female non 65
5'7" 285#s
Diabetes - Dx after age 50 A1c-6.2 avg blood - 140
Controlled BP 123/67
BPAP w/O2 says "Doc says will switch to air next appointment".

Meds =
GLIPIZIDE 5mg
ATENOLOL 25mg
ZOCOR 40mg
LISINOPRIL 20mg

Looking for $25k -$50k Prefer WL but will consider 15-20 year term.

I keep bumping up against the O2. Is O2 in a Bpap the same as needed to breath.

She is employed full time.

Thanks, Lee

If the BIPAP is for Sleep Apnea you can get past the oxygen with some companies but the ht/wt is a killer. 5'7 and 285ish is BIG

If it's not for Sleep Apnea, Monumental will cover Immediate Preferred with the new app. If she does, they won't.

However, if your state uses the old app, I'm pretty sure Monu will cover either way.

Forethought will cover the oxygen use for Sleep Apnea, but you'll have to check the height and weight chart.

Yeah it is for sleep apnea. I'll have to re look at monumental, did not even think to look at forethought.

My Monumental wouldn't work and Forethought wouldn't with the weight so if you have an old ap with Monumental that works you are lucky.

A BiPap machine is typically used when someone has a more serious sleep apnea called "central sleep apnea". This could throw a wrench into it as well.
