Business Plan Help

OK, I know this is asking for a lot but I need to bring a business plan to my General Agency Manager Monday.

I'm not trying to secure a loan from a bank or anything but they just want us agents to present a plan. All the format I am finding on the internet is more like a formal business plan.

Anyone have a sample business plan I could use or get some ideas from. I was thinking of going to the bookstore tomorrow to see what I could find.

I'm pretty good with resumes but this business plan thing is throwing me for a loop.

You can email it to me or PM me for what info you would need. Just didn't know if anyone had something that would suit my situation.

I'm more concerned about format.

Business plans take a little brain power. That's if you want one that is going to be useful to you in your business. But the basics things you will need to work out are.

Executive summary- This outlines your plan. What you hope to accomplish. What business you are in, who are your customers etc.

Product or Service - Describe the products you will focus on. If the bulk of your business will come from life then explain how the product works, why its valuable and reason your customers will buy.

Market & Competition - Define your core market. who else markets to them. where do they live, how much they make, etc. How will you position yourself and how are you different, why you'll succeed.

Marketing & Sales
How will you market? Where will you market? What is your sales process? How does your marketing plan bring in your ideal customers.

Business System. - How will you make money? How will the paperwork be handled? E&O Ins? How much time will you spend on each aspect of your business? How much do you expect to sell? What is your overhead?(marketing, selling, paperwork, etc.)

Opportunities and risks. - What are the risks in your plan? Basically what's the worst that could happen?

Appendix - Flier examples, articles, etc.

Hope that helps. Don't just copy and paste something. Really take some time and get this done if you do it right it's invaluable to your business.
