I understand and agree with her point about not wanting the govt to REQUIRE her to do something. OTOH, I think anyone who has any assets at all is a fool to walk around without health insurance.

Again, I can only hope I'm able to purchase a catastrophic plan outside of the exchange. It's irresponsible to go without insurance but it's equally irresponsible to sacrifice my family's savings to have it.
