Shot in the dark here. Has anyone tried to buy a book of business from a captive agent?
In this case, its Metlife P and C. I've been working and building this book for the last 10 years with the captive agent(my father). When the captive agent retires, this book will go into the agency directors hands to reassign. Since, Met also has an independent agency prescence, I thought I'd approach them about buying the auto/home clients from them. Any thoughts?
