Buying RX internationally

Has anyone had any experience with this?

I have been having a recent influx of people asking about Canadian pharmacies and was given a pharmacychecker.com to review. It looks like a verification site for international online pharmacies for reputability. I am extremely nervous to even consider this but look increasingly inept without at least some working knowledge of it.

Are most of these pharmacies a scam? Can someone actually get prosecuted for purchasing from these?

Thanks for any input!

You can legally purchase certain drugs from Canada with a prescription.

Truth be told anyone buying a prescription in the United States is participating in a scam.

Been watching customers buy Canadian for 30 yrs. Good rule of thumb has always been cost of 3 months Canadian = 1 month US for most name brands.

Caveat, not an agent

[EXTERNAL LINK] - Is it legal for me to personally import drugs?

FDA, however, has a policy explaining that it typically does not object to personal imports of drugs that FDA has not approved under certain circumstances, including the following situation:

  • The drug is for use for a serious condition for which effective treatment is not available in the United States;
  • There is no commercialization or promotion of the drug to U.S. residents;
  • The drug is considered not to represent an unreasonable risk;
  • The individual importing the drug verifies in writing that it is for his or her own use, and provides contact information for the doctor providing treatment or shows the product is for the continuation of treatment begun in a foreign country; and
  • Generally, not more than a 3-month supply of the drug is imported

I believe pharmacychecker dot com is a legitimate site.

I have seen a number of agents also recommend Blue Sky Drugs.

A US site that will place orders from India is ProgressiveRX.

Like Millwood, my clients have been using Canadian pharmacies for years without a hitch. I have used them myself a few times.

You can also get generics on things like Eliquis which has no US generic opions.
