California Non-resident

Hi,
Anybody out there gone thru the requirements to get a ca non resident license? What does that entail, and what kind of turn around time can be expected?

Yes, I did about a year ago and it was a pain. It took about 30 days to get my license, not to mention the extra paperwork, fingerprinting and cost.

Due to budget constraints, the California DOI is no longer processing applications. You can pay your money now for a license in 2014.

Funny. I just did my renewal. I like that they email the certificate. Saves them money and I get it faster.

This state is so broke the DOI site will soon be pay per view.

Been waiting for license for coming up on a month, now. They took my app money, I paid for the L1 background fingerprinting, DOJ received and forwarded my info to CA and now they have pushed it to a review board. Thy won't tell me why until 30 days passes.

WTF? I have clients been waiting 2 months now and they jerking me around. What a hassle. Glad I left CA, that place is doomed.

You feel our pain!

Two months, hope no one become uninsurable in the wait time. Maybe work out some kind of split with a local agent. There are a few CA agents here. Not an offer, a suggestion.

Hope they get ypu the license soon, and not an IOU.

If your business is corporation, do you have to get both entity and individual non-resident licenses?
