Can You Get an Appointment While in Ch 13 BK?

My husband just got his license and wants to sell FE. Will he be able to get an appointment if he is currently in Ch 13 BK? He has to pay for another 4 years.

This is going to be different from company to company. The best person to ask is the licensing contact at each company. Some will and some won't. Most won't advance since that creates a "debt" and he can't legally create new debt while in BK to be best of my knowledge.

Not taking an advance is not a bad thing either. Something real comfortable about having a steady income stream.

Tell him to get into Med Supps. Much easier than FE and the money is very good. First year commission for six years.

One app a day, five days per week, 52 weeks a year will gross him around $75,000. No need to purchase "leads" either.

MA's are a disaster! I am an agent for HS in AL. I haven't gotten that email yet...but I have a feeling it's coming. We have actually thought about getting into Med Supps., but need more info on it. I work in MS sometimes and that's just about all I see there.

Med Supps are easy. If you have been selling MA plans then you already have a base to start with. Just start contacting your MA clients. What could be easier? They already know and trust you.
