When I write a new commercial account I typically take an blank Acord 135 (cancellation form) with me. After I close, I have them write their policy numbers and sign the form and fill in the agency info. Usually I have no problems with this, however recently an agency refused to honor it because they did not issue the form. Have any of you had issues with this? Am I doing something wrong?
My thought is that the less the incumbent agent is involved the better of I am.
