What has been the experience of agents in regards to various carriers ..for example, what carrier is competitive against State Farm?
What carrier is competitive gains Auto Owners?

What are some of the hot buttons..?

Who knows? If you are a captive at SF, you can't usually check rates at auto owners and vice versa. From a claims and coverage perspective, I have been with both and they both equally suck. If they were all I had to pick from, I would go with auto owners. I prefer to pay less for crappy service.

So what carriers would you say are good ?
When you say a carrier sucks..what typically is that tipping point or experience that tells you that? As I am sure you can tell by these questions ...and I am still relatively new. thanks
